Baby Phat Chic Fall 2009 Runway Looks

Here’s what to note in the latest collection from Kimora Lee Simmons and Baby Phat:

Hot, sexy urban looks that work from day to night, chic business looks that are still funky enough for after 5.  Who better than Kimora to pull off a show that offers a variety of looks that say “I’m Fashion, I’m Chic.”
Baby Phat is the design house to watch.
The Fall 2009 runway showed something for everyone, from skinny jeans, to elegant floor length gowns.  This season Baby Phat offers trendy box quilted trenches trimmed with gold studs, sexy baby doll lace dresses that will get you a double look, lace leggings spice up the wardrobe, lattice work shoes are a must and splatter print skinny jeans are eye catching.

Baby Phat Cropped Leather Jacket, Tweed Cummerbund, Jeans, Pearls & Chains Belt and Necklaces

9-5 looks are spiced up with very french looking lace jackets trimmed in ribbons, high waisted & tied skirts with cropped leather jackets-all made for a new sexy office look. Cropped swing jackets over chiffon ruffled blouses with satin bow and draped in pearls over skinny leather jeans said “Urban Paris” is here to stay. Sateen high heel boots added that extra something when paired with a lace baby doll dress.  Wide width tooled leather belts added the extra in your face accent.  Leather jackets look especially casual and chic with sleeves pushed up.

Denim Jeans still rule, but are turned up a notch with pearl and chain belts, tweed button cummerbunds, t-shirts and lots of pearls and chain necklaces.  Baby Phat showed a good mix of fabrics consisting of leather, wool, denim, silk chiffon, splatter printed jeans, wool, lace, jersey, fur and sequins.  The sky’s the limit with this line.
Overall all the looks were hip, chic and diversified.  Even if you choose not to wear the outfits as shown, fear not, you’d definitely find an “item” to call your own.
And lets not forget trendy evening wear.   Baby Phat showed a sequined cropped legged jumpsuit that is sure to please the evening club crowd.  Long flowing pleated floor length chiffon gowns with jeweled straps will satisfy the sophisticated customer.  If you want simple casual elegance, look at the tonal striped sequined tunic paired with shimmer leggings.
Fashions are topped by casually tossed tresses, short bobs and make up that blends in with the color of the outfit-looking beautiful and not excessive.
All in all the Baby Phat Fall 2009 looks are strong for this season and say “designer urban chic”.
