Fashion: Trendy Shades Spring/Summer '09

By Doris Darby

Every famous person around knows the true value from a pair of fashion designer shades. Whether it is to blot out the consequences from a late night away on the tiles or alternatively an attempt to blend on the street, a set of superior sunglasses are utterly essential. We have come across a mass of vogues come and go, however a cracking pair of shades will always surpass the fading fads of the day.

To work out what will be in vogue this summer, it is helpful to observer the fashionable and famous as they will often be at the cutting edge of style - it's their job. So looking ahead to 2009, it appears as though big sunglasses will be the way to go.

One of my best fashion indicators is Carmen Electra. Yet, I don't claim to be an avid fan of her TV work, she did look great in her Missoni shades last week.

I noticed that Catherine Zeta Jones was sporting a set of Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses the other day. They were great. She looked beautiful in them and they are likely to be hot this season.

Heidi Klum, our darling supermodel and partygirl, has unbelievable style gumption. I came across an image of her earlier this calendar week wearing a classical pair of Aviator shades. Although many folks within the fashion business have been bemoaning the preponderance of Aviator sunglasses, I could not conceive of a world without them. Heidi was adorning a set made by Ray Ban, and they were perfectly pleasing!

Talking of party girls, how can I carry on without bringing up Paris Hilton? I adore Paris. She might not be accepted seriously as an actress or singer, however she reigns sovereign across the fashion world. She was lately picked out adorning a pair of the fresh Oakley eyeglasses for women. That is correct, children. Oakley recently set up a brand-new line of dark glasses entirely for women, and they are the must-have item for this fashion year. Believe the ballyhoo!
