Taking their cues from 2008 in 2009, women’s hair trends will play to the extremes. Hair styles might be extremely short, extremely girly or extremely sexy. It’s only the Bob haircut that will sit somewhere next to the extreme and you’re going to be hard pressed to find that hair style on fashion forward women.
In 2008 women’s haircuts got shorter. The Bob hair trend dominated and those who got it their popularity grew. Now, in 2009 we are left with an interesting predicament. The fashion forward short bobs are no longer fashion forward. Every woman got one. Fashion forward women have a choice to make. Keep their Bobs and blend with the crowd or to cut their hair short and stand out. Curls, Kinks and Waves.
A pixie crop is the natural progression of the bob. It offers a bold look and its young and funky, when its done right. Expect to see plenty of this look in 2009.
A pale blonde, is the color of choice for this season which is the best color to wear with all the colorful clothes of the season.
Leaving the short hair styles and the bob over saturated it leaves us to long hair. A good cut that is layered correctly allows you to take advantage of the 2009 hair trends. The newest direction in hair this season is curls, kinks and waves. There are so many ways to wave your hair you are bound to find the curl that fits your hair.
Bohemian Luxury Look
This is a look that headed down the runways of fashion week. Utliize natural texture, creating a deconstructed look by utilizing textured products and irons. This gives an irregular texture but yet luxurious. Part bohemian, part sex goddess rock chic is sure to be the staple look for factionistas in the bohemian luxury fashion world… at Salon Buzz we call it the” Bohemian Luxury look”.
Modern Luxury Look 
Adding a bit of oomph to a long hairstyle by wearing it heavily voluminous. This is the most contemporary and sought after look of our A list celebrities. It starts with a beautiful well finished blow out. From there the finish happens with tools like irons and rollers. What fits your personality will constitute the size of curls or waves. Keep in mind it should be lustrous and body full.
