Cellulite: What Works, What Doesn't Work And What Surprised Me. Product Reviews Reveal Truth!

By K. Moehr

1. ACCENT: Pricey and painful. Not much else to report and I tried it for several treatments (over 12) so I pretty much got a good read on this. Skip it unless you have the mildest case of cellulite.

2. Bliss Fat Girl Slim: Pricey, but fun. Who doesn't love the Bliss Spa offering? Unfortunately it's much like their self-touted cellulite serum and not quite worth the price in that it doesn't really deliver (for me anyway). I used it religiously with the nighttime version, good exercise and diet, but nothing much happened. Oh well...

3. Oligo DX Cellulite Reducing Gel: Love it, will keep buying it. I really do see a difference in my cellulite (smoother, more toned, less bumpy) by using this consistently.

4. Celluthin: In the pink bottle. Wanted it to work and all the reviews on amazon.com promised it would. But alas, it just doesn't seem to do the trick with me (used for 3 straight weeks). I don't get it?

5. Bliss stimilator: Love this little thing! It's just a white, nubbly rubber disc, but it really helps. I use it in the shower for about a minute on trouble areas and I look smoother all day.

6. Pycnogenol: A powerful anti-oxidant that I happened upon accidentally. I bought it months ago to add to my vitamin regimen but I only took it sporadically. I started again recently and started noticing a corresponding smoothing of the skin when I took it. Call me crazy (well, most cellulite experts suggest taking strong antioxidants to counteract the stuff), but I'll stay on it.

7. 30 Day Shred (Jillian Michaels): Yeah, it works. It's tough, but it works. I like that it's only 20 minute segments and keeps you moving No rest intervals). I hate the beginning you have to watch EVERY time to get to the workouts, but I guess that's what bathroom breaks are for?
