A skin Analysis is the number one stage in facial skin care. But sadly, most persons usually skip this step.
Ive written a story a story about my friend named Gina. And she too, like many of us, ignored getting a facial analysis. And so, she had to overcome a lot of facial skin care problems until eventually she got it right.
To tell the truth, Gina was a very self conscious person. And she always wanted to look her best. So she always devoted a lot of time (sometimes too much time) to skin care routine.
Gina also avoided the sun, ate healthy and abstained from cigarettes and alcohol. But for some reason her skin did not always give her the results she wanted.
Instead of achieving soft and supple facial skin, all Gina got was tightness, dryness and blisters.
Gina thought she was doing something wrong. Maybe it was the brand name of the products she was using? Maybe if she switched to another brand her condition would improve.
So Gina viewed of the different skin ads on TV and took notice of those that appealed to her.
Then she proceeded to the mall, bought and used the priciest products.
Now what do you think occurred next? Did Gina's new approach to skin care solve her problems?
Well no, regrettably. There weren't any noticeable improvements. So she had to discard those costly, once-used products.
Gina was so disappointed that she was about to give up. She thought that beautiful skin was not for her.
But at this stage I intervened and passed on a few suggestions.
I asked her about her skin type. And just as I suspected, she did not know.
So I explained the 5 different types of skin. They are oily skin, dry skin, sensitive skin, combination skin and normal skin. Then I demanded that she take a facial analysis.
As it turned out, Gina had sensitive skin. And the beauty products she used in the past were irritating it.
Gina now understands how to get the most out of her sensitive skin. And shes making calculated choices when it comes to choosing products and treatments.
And her experience backs up my first announcement. That is, getting a skin analysis is the basis of skin care. Overlooking this first step can lead to failure.
