Yeast Infection and Candida Diet

By Sam Smith

One of the strict diets recognized by the natural health world is the Candida Diet. This had been identified as a diet that requires discipline. It could transform ones diet significantly.

Here we discuss 3 main foods or food ingredients that must be avoided when you are into Candida diet. The following must be avoided:

Sugar

Avoiding any food products that contain sugar is the critical part of the diet. Since foods such as white bread and white flour are converted into sugar in your body, it's recommended to avoid them as well. Regular servings of fruits are good for your health. But fruits also contain sugar. Therefore, you should avoid fruits until the yeast infection is healed.

Yeast

Candida is a classified as yeast. So it just makes complete sense that having yeast in your diet can actually aggravate the infection. Yeast encourages the growth of Candida so it is best to eliminate yeast from your diet. This is attributed to the fact that Candida is capable of assimilating other forms of yeast and uses them in order to grow and multiply.

Alcohol

People suffering from yeast infection often complain of feeling like they have a hang-over. This is because of the by-product, acetaldehyde, produced by Candida in the body everyday. Alcohol is the third most important thing to avoid, since it encourages the process of fermentation. When on Candida diet, you should avoid alcohol.

If you wanted to avoid Candida from developing in your body, follow the strict Candida Diet or at least take these foods in complete moderation.
