Truth About Oprah's Acai Berry Diet

When someone is famous like Oprah Winfrey she is often quoted and misquoted. Oprah's acai berry diet was supposedly announced on her show. Actually she never revealed a specific diet with anything she was eating, but praised the healthy attributes of the acai berry with its many vitamins, minerals and all around good taste.

Dr. Perricone and Dr.Oz both have been on her show several times, and both are well respected physicians in the health arena. Both of them claim it to be a number one super food. The acai berry whether in powder, juice or supplement is a superior addition to most diets.

According to Oprah she loves the taste of the acai berry which makes it easy on the palate. The flavor which is a cross between red wine and chocolate does sound tempting. It is definitely a plus for dieters that there are many products available with new flavors being developed all the time.

Weight issues are certainly not new, and many people struggle through one diet or another. Acai berry products are a great boom to losing weight. Eating healthy foods has to be part of a daily routine. Eating a lot of fruits and vegetables makes good sense for general health, well being and shedding pounds.

Oprah can enjoy her acai berry products and know she will have a lot of energy and get all the basic nutrition. So we know it is going to be called Oprah's acai berry diet, even if it is not, many people will try it for that claim alone.
