Whats new for spring of 2009? What have designers changed to create something fresh and new?
The Bohemian look being earthy and flashy, its all about wearing simple comfortable pieces with a sophisticated cool edge. So whats new? Crochet blouses, lace trimmed tops, embroidered cami, baby doll tops with eyelet detail and oh-so boho smocked off the shoulder tops. These tops will look great with your tiered skirt or 70's bell bottom jeans. Available at Victoria's Secret.
Last years Tie-dye day dresses are back with new spring colors What the experts said in '08: Tie-dye, or dip-dye, patterns popped up as a fun trend in casual wear this season, and it's safe to keep them in the closet for next spring, too. You might want to stick with neutral hues, though, as we don't yet know what the popular color combinations will be next spring."
I've already seen them at the mall stores in bright spring colors; orange aqua and white.
Maxi day dresses are also available in bright colors, tropical prints
and geometric patterns. These great dresses are available
at Nordstroms.
Some of the spring designs are airy, refined, romantic and highly textural with luxurious fabrics and details. They are destined for "a strong, independent and confident woman.
Color Block designs are bold, bright, clashing two, three or more color combinations; hot pink or fuchsia makes a vivid contrast with fluorescent shades of yellow, orange or green.
Whatever your taste in clothes, I am sure you will have fun shopping for this years latest fashions...I know I will. Happy New Year!
